SIR CHARLES DILKE ON THE EGYPTIAN CRISIS.
THE DYNAMITE DISCOVERY

LONDON
January 23. In the course of an address to his constituents at Chelsea last night, Sir Charles Dilke alluded to the state of affairs in the Soudan, and announced that Gordon Pasha had been commissioned to execute a policy of evacuation as regards tho interior, but that it had been decided to retain possession of the country along the coast of the Eed It is believed by the authorities that the dynamite which was found in the tunnel near tho Euston station was not placed there with the intention of causing injury to the Prince of Wales, who was about to travel on the line.
