This fine steamer, now on her maiden voyage, has boon specially built for the New Zoaland trade by Messrs. John Elder and Sons, of Glasgow, a firm famous for turning out the fastest boats of the age. No expense has been spared in rendering her passage accommodation equal to that of any steamer afloat. Lithographed plans of her various saloons, &c, can be seen at any of the Company's offices. Sho is specially timed to catch the FEBRUARY SALES, and will report at Madeira with that object. As she has a large portion of her cargo engaged at Port Chalmers (her first port of call) her space for wool will bo limited, and early application for space is advisable. Ifc is intended that, weather permitting, she shall go through the Straits of Magellan and call at the beautiful harbor of Rio de Janeiro. The saloon and state cabins are superbly fitted and arranged and provided with every requisite for tho comfort of tho passengers, who are provided with bedding and all cabin fittings. The dietary scale is most liberal. Second-class and steerage accommodation is all that could be desired, and tho ships are commanded by experienced masters. The Company also charters ships of the highest class as required, and vessels are despatched from London to each of the principal ports of the colony with strict Eunctuality every month. Tho Company as also ships loading homoward from New Zoaland. LIVERPOOL AGENCY. A Branch has been established in Liverpool, and -pssels will be despatched at suitable intervals to the principals ports in New Zoaland. NEW YORK AGENCY. Messrs R. W. Cameron and Co.. have beon appointed Agents for this Company, and a regular lino of vessels will bo laid on for the various ports in this colony to moet the requirements of tho trade. Arrangements for tho passages of friends to and fro from the colony, and also for the conveyance of cargo can bo made at tho Hoad Office, Christchurch or at any of the Branches in the colony. D.
