The house of Mr Knght, fruiterer, Newton East, has been broken into, and a cash-box containing £41 stolen, also a watchchain and other goods, making a total value of £91. The burglar effected an entrance by breaking the back window, and took tho cash-box from the room where Knight was sleecping without awakening him.
