NOTICE is hereby given that in accordance with section Gl of the Education Act, 1877, the Board of the Education District of Hawke's Bay has approved of a school district being established at To Arai, Poverty Bay, in tho County of Cook, and the following are the boundaries of such school district to be hereafter known as the "To Arai School District" : — Starting from the south-eastern boundary at the mouth of the Karaua creelc, from thence in a straight line west to the trigonometrical station No. 101, from thence north to where the two roads join on the Whenuakura block on the right bank of the Waipaoa river, then following down that river to the starling point at tho mouth of the Karaua creek. EXTENSION OF THE PATANGATA DISTRICT SCHOOL. It is further notified that the Board of Education has approved of the extension of the Patangata School District, so as to include the district known as the " Oero Road Board District," and on and after the Ist day of January, 1884, the Patangata School District shall be held as including the Oero Road Board District in addition to the district already gazetted.
