This Company is formed for the purpose of taking over from the old Company (known as tho " Champion Copper Lode Mining Company, Limited,") their valuable property in Aniseed Valley, Nelson. The consideration being £20,000, but the shareholders in the old Company subscribe for tho full number of 20,000 shares, the terms of transfer in compensation for tho property being as follows : — £4000 to bo debited for application and allotment on the 20,000 shares to be subscribed for in the new Company. £3000 cash on formation of the Company. £3000 six months after formation, and the balance twelve mouths from date of registration, less calls made. Tho property consists of a lease of 800 acres from the "Government dated the 10th of December, 1881, and is for 21 years, with the right of renewal for a further 21 years ; the rent is as follows:—For the next three years, £80 per annum, and after tho expiration of the year 188G the rent is to be £200 per annum. The Company also holds a surface right over 400 acres which is thickly timbered, and also through the lease a most valuable water supply, and freehold of twenty acres, being tho only adjacent site suitable for a township, and smelting works, which will undoubtedly be required sooner or later.
