Consolation Race—Of 10 soys., one mile, for all beaten horses. Post entrance, 1 SOY. RULES. No person allowed to enter a horse unless he is a subscriber of at least ono guinea to the Club. All disputes, claims, or objections to be decided by a majority of the stewards, or Avhom they may appoint, whoso decision shall be final. All protests to be accompanied with a deposit of two guineas, to be forfeited if the protest is considered frivolous. Three horses to start in each race, or only half the money will be given. "Hack" shall mean a horso that has never started in a weight-for-age or handicap race. Acceptances for the Handicap Hurdle Race, AV.C.R.C. Handicap, and the Railway Handicap, accompanied by the necessary amount in cash, and colors of riders, must be left Avith the secretary not later than 8 p.m. on the 22nd of December. Five per cent, deducted from the gross amount of all stakes. All races run under the H.B. Jockey Club rules and weights.
