December. 17- -Sir Donald, s.s., from Blackhead. Passengers—Messrs H. Bold andD. M. Couper. 18—Maori, s.s., from Wairoa. Passengers —Mr and Mrs Duckctt and family, Mrs Downs, Mr Frederick Taylor, and two natives.

DEPARTURES.

December 13_gir Donald, S.s., for Blackhead

The steamer Maori, Capt. Anderson, returned from Wairoa at about J 1 o'clock this forenoon, bringing several passengers, 45 bales of wool, and a quantity of luggage. Sho will bo leaving again for the same destination at 12 o'clock to-morrow night.

The steamer Kiwi isjtelegraphed as having left Wellington for Napier via Castle Point at 10,30 last night, and will be due here tomorrow morning. The Union Company's steamer Southern Cross is expected to leave Auckland at about 5 p.m. this day, and will be due here on Friday morning. She will bring our inward portion of the 'Frisco lmiil, which arrived in Auckland by the City of Sydney last night. The Cross is to steam hence for Wellington at 5 p.m. on Friday. Tho p.s. Manaia is not expected to get away for Wairoa until to-morrow night. The lighters Admiral and Three Brothers, who were delayed yesterday by the rain, are discharging their cargoes from tho steamers Waihora and To Anau respectively to-day. The steamer Sir Donald, dipt. Quinlan, left again for Blackhead between 12 and 1 o'clock to-day for a load of wool. Sho went down to the same place on Sunday afternoon, but owing to the roughness of tho sea was only enabled to land her passengers, after which she returned to port again last evening.

The Now Zealand Shipping Company havo received cable advice that the meat by tho British Queen arrived in good condition. The Aorangi loft Tenorift'o at 0 p.m. on December 7th for Wellington. The Doric left Plymouth for Auckland on Decembor 15th.
