The stewards of tho llampdou races have decided to postpone their meeting from 2nd to 3rd January, to avoid clashing witli the Onga Ontra meeting, wbicii has been fixed for tho 2nd. The time for receiving nominations has been extended till Tuesday, 18th inst., weights being declared on 21st, and acceptances closing on 28th inst. Lord Fnlmouth's Busybody, that won tho Middle Park Plate, also won the Great Challenge Stakes, wort]) at least £1000. Tho following weights have been declared for the two main events at the Woodthorpe races, to bo hold on New Year's Day : — Handicap Hurdles, about 2 miles.— Pastime, list; Hcretauuga, lOst 01b.
