Consols remain at 100$, and New Zealand securities as follows : —Five per cent. 10-40 loan, 105 ; five per cent. 1889 loan, 104 ; four and a half per cent. 1879-1904 loan, lOlf ; four per cent, inscribed stock, 100.1. Iho market rate of discount has further advanced one-eighth, and is now 21 per cent; bank rate, 3 per cent.
Wheat is steady at the following prices : ■ —Adelaide, ex-store, 46/- ; Now Zealand ditto, 38,/G to 43/G; Adelaide flour, exwarchouso, 32/-. The total quantity of wheat afloat for Great Britain is 1,810,000 quarters a decrease of 440,000 quarters as compared with last week. Scotch pig iron has fallen 6d per ton, and is now quoted at 17/-, f.o.b. in Clyde; galvanised iron, 20-guagc, packed in cases f.o.b in London, £18 10s.
