The property consists of a lease of SOO acres from the Government dated the 10th of December, 1881, and is for 21 years, with the right of renewal for a further 21 years; the rent is as follows:—For the next three years, £80 per annum, and after the expiration of the year 1886 the rent is to be £200 per annum. The Company also holds a surface right over 400 acres which is thickly timbered, and also through the lease a most valuable water supply, and freehold of twenty acres, being the only adjacent site suitable for a township, and smelting works, which will undoubtedly be required sooner or later.
