The outward passengers Avcre taken off to tho steamer Manapouri by the Boojum shortly after 2 o'clock on Saturday afternoon, tho vessel epiitting the bay for Melbourne via Southern ports and Hobart at about 3.30 p.m. She is telegraphed as having arrived in Wellington at 0.15 a.m. yesterday, Tbo s.s. Maori, 11. Anderson, master, returned from AVairoa at 5 p.m. on Saturday, bringing a cargo of maize and wool. She is now loading up again, and may bo able to get aAvay for the samo place at 10 o'clock to-night. The steamer Wcka, Captain Campbell, got back from the coast on Saturday night, Avith a load of avool, Avhich she is transhipping to tho vessels iv the roadstead to-day. The three-masted schooner Mary AVaelley, Captain Moore, brought up in tho bay from Greymouth at 0 p.m. on Saturday, after a fourteen days passage. Sho will probably get inside this afternoon, and Avill commence discharging her cargo of coal, ivhich is consigned to tho Napier Gas Company, at tho breastwork to-morrow.
The Union Company's steamer Tarawera transhipped her outward passengers and mails from the Boojum shortly after 5 p.m. on Saturday, and steamed on her passage passage for Northern ports at 7.30 p.m. Tho fore-and-aft schooner Columbia, Captain Comvay, arrived hero from Mercury Bay on Saturday afternoon, with a cargo of aw i timber, drain pipes, and shingles, vh'jh she is discharging to-day at the breastwork.
Tho three-masted schooner Silver Cloud, Captain Balle, Avas towed outside early on Saturday afternoon by the s.s. Sir Donald, and sailed for Newcastle, N.S.W.
The p.s. Mauaiu, Capt. Baxter, got aAvay for AVairoa at an early hour yesterday morning. The mooring buoy from the anchorage Avas toAved inside this morning by the Sir Donald for repairs. Mr J. Ji. Vautier's three-masted schooner Frank Guy, Capt. J. P. Ballo, arrived at the anchorage at 5.30 p.m. on Saturday, after a nine days passage from Greymouth. Sho brings a load of coal for the Raihvay Department, which she Avill be brought inside to discharge this afternoon or tomorrow morning. The steamer Sir Donald, Capt. Qiiinlan, sailed forTongoio and Moeangiangi at 12.30 p.m. to-day for a load of avool. The launch Boojum avus taken on to Northc's slip this morning to have her bottom cleaned and painted.
