At tho meeting of the City Council last night MrT. F! Martin, of Timaru, was appointed Town Clerk, and Mr B. Lougrey, of Melbourne, City Engineer. Mr George Wiltshire, the present holder of tho As-bistant-Engineership, was re-appointed to the same position.
