PORT OF NAPIER

Tho barque Langstono was still off the Pania reef at dusk last night, but a breeze got up off tho land later on and carried her out of sight by this morning. Tho Union Company's steamer Southern Cross, Captain Ross, is telegraphed as having left Wellington for Northern ports at 9.30 last night, having 140 tons of cargo on board for this place. She will probably arrive about midnight, and Avill be berthed inside to-morrow morning. She will discharge her cargo during tho day, and at G. 30 p.m. is announced to steam for Gisborne and Auckland. The s.s. Kiwi, Capt. James Campbell, hence on Friday morning last, is telegraphed as having arrived at Wellington at 9.30 last night, but, judging from the weather, wo doubt if sho has succeeded in doing much coast work on her Avay down. The s.s. Wcka is expected to get away for various southern coastal stations to-night for a load of avool.

Tho brigantine Enterprise has finished discharging her inward cargo, and has commenced to load up Avith raihvay sleepers for Dunedin.
