WESLEYAN DISTRICT MEETINGS.
Auckland, This day,
At the close of tho Wesleyan district meeting yesterday a resolution Avas passed affirming the desirability of leaving out any limit to the ministerial term of residence in a circuit in tho proposed model deed. A further motion was carried to the effect that the Conference be recommended to moke the limit three years as at present. The result of this ivould be that the power of determining the term of a minister's stay in circuit Avould be transferred to the Conference.

At the Wesleyan district meeting it was resolved that New Zealand be constituted a separate and independent Conference, and that tho Conference be recommended to consider the advisablencss of requesting the General Conference to send to New Zealand tho Rev. Edward Youngman, of tho Chinese Mission in Victoria, to consider the spiritual needs of tho Chinese in this colony.
