William Oliver, of Napier, storeman, declares his inability to meet his engagements with his creditors, who hold their first meeting at the Court House, Napier, on the 13th proximo. Mr 11. Williams, ironmonger, has just landed a new shipment of tho celebrated Singer system hand sewing machine, with handsome walnut cover and various new improvements. Messrs Blytho and Co. have great ban-gains in men's, youth's, and boy's hats. Rates owing to the Petauc Road Board unpaid on Ist January will bo sued for without further notice. A dividend of ~>h in tho £1 in tho estate of Combs and Co. will be payable on and after tho Ist proximo on all proved and admitted claims. Messrs Saunders and Gilberd, late of Auckland, wish to draw attention to their various qualities of soap, price lists of which can be had on application. "Sydney," Daily Telegraph office, wants to rent or purchase a family residence on the hills close to town. " E.F.," office of this paper, wants a bedroom, two sitting rooms, and occasional use of kitchen. A number of new advertisements will be found in our " Wanted " column.
