Telegrams have reached here from Madagascar stating that active hostilities have been resumed by the French fleet under Admiral Galliber. Vohaman, a coast town, has been bombarded by tho French war ships, the principal buildings being ruined, and a number'of persons, among whom are live British subjects, being killed. The attack was carried on with great severity, and tho town was shelled for several hours, a large amount of property owned by neutral natives, as well as by tho Hovas, being destroyed.
