TOWN BOARD ELECTION.

The polling for tho election of five ToAvn Commissioners for tho newly constituted Town Board took place at "Wairoa yesterday, and excited a great deal of interest, all tho resident voters, with few exceptions, voting. At the close of the poll the numbers were announced as follows : — Rev. W. Lambert ~ .. 52 G. B. Flint 47 T. Tarker 17 J. T. Largo 41 G. Mayo 41 D. Black 35 The first five were declared elected. The result is highly satisfactory, a good AA-orking representative Board being returned.—(By telegraph, own correspondent).
