November. 23—Kiwi, s.s., for Wellington and tho coast. _—. — & The Union Steamship Company's steamer Omapere, Capt. Albnan, finished discharging her cargo at the breastwork this morning, and at 2 p.m. was to have steamed for Gisborno, Tauranga, and Auckland. Tho s.s. Kiwi, Capt. Campbell, took her departure for Wellington and the coast at 9 o'clock this morning. The steamer Maori, Capt. Anderson, is reported as having loft Wairoa at 10 a in. this day, aud will arrive hero early this afternoon. The Union Steamship Company s s.s. Southern Cross, Capt. Ross, Avas coming up the bay from Gisborno and Auckland as our report' left the Spit. Sho will be brought inside at slack Avater this afternoon, and Avill commence discharging at once, as she is to steam for Wellington from tho wharf at 9.30 a.m. to-morrow.

Tho steamer Go-Ahead, Capt. riumley, finished discharging her inward cargo at tho cattle wharf this morning, and was to sail for Wellington at about 2 p.m. this clay, taking a quantity of wool and tallow for transhipment to tho steamer Triumph. Tho p.s. Manaia, Captain Baxter, left Wairoa at 11 o'clock this morning, and should arrive in port about 0 or 4 o'clock this afternoon.

Tho Union Company's steamer Ringarooma, Captain Carey, is telegraphed as having left Auckland for Southern ports and Melbourne at 1 o'clock yesterday afternoon, having some 2o tons of cargo on board for this place. She is expected to arrive here at an cai-ly hour to-morrow- morning, nnd after being tendered as usual i.s announced to steam on her vray southward.

The light is elevated 70 feet above the sea, and allowing 15 feet for tho height of the eye, Avill bo seen at a distance of about I'J.V nautical miles in clear weather, and at lesser distances according to the state of atmosphere.
