Rules and Regulations. No entry will be received for any race except upon the condition that all claims, disputes, and objections arising shall be decided by the Stewards, or Avhom they may appoint, and their decision upon all points shall be final. No qualification fee. Tho rules and weights of the HaAA'ke's Bay Jockey Club will be strictly adhered to. Five per cent. Avill be deducted from the gross amount of all stakes. Horses Avalking over Avill receive 50 per cent, of the stakes. All nominations, acceptances, and general entries, accompanied by tho necessary amount in cash, must be addressed to tho Secretary, and left at tho Criterion Hotel, Napier, not later than 8 p.m. on thoscA'eral undernoted dates. "Hack Hurdle Horse " is a horse that has never started in a weight-for-agc or handicap hurdle race or steeplechase. All disputes, claims, or objections to bo decided by a majority of tho steAvards, or Avhom they may appoint, Avhose decision shall bo final. All protests to bo accompanied AA'ith a deposit of tAvo guineas, to bo forfeited if tho protest is considered frivolous. Three horses to start in each race, or only half tho money Avill be given.
