ALEXANDRIA.
.November _v. News has reached here from the Soudan which has given currency to a report that tho Egyptian forces under Hicks Pasha operating against the followers of El Alahdi, the False Prophet, are short of provisions and surrounded by the enemy. The position of the Egyptian troops is said to bo critical.
