BOROUGH PUBLIC WORKS.
The Public Works Committee of the Municipal Council agreed last evening to recommmed the following to the Council : — 1. That, a hydrant, ka'., be fixed in the hospital grounds, as .suggested by the engineer, provided tho Hospital Committee bear the expense thereof. 2. That a I'j-inch pipe bo laid across Milton road at its junction with Burlington road. 8. That two culverts be fixed across Cariyle street, as suggested by tho overseer in his report. 4. That a notice be served on tho owner of section No. i'(s, informing him that_ a nuisance exists thereon, and directing him to abate the same.
