12—Manapouri, s.s., for Gisborne, Auckland, and Sydney. Passengers—Mesdames Hecps and Cook, Misses Cook and Large, Masters Cross (2), Messrs Godard, P. James, R. Howard, Evans, Vicker, W. A. Ellis, Salmon, J. G. Brown, Barry, and Lamb.

The Union Company's steamer Manapouri, Capt. Logan, transhipped her outward passengers from tho launch sbortly after 5 o'clock last night, and steamed on lier way for Sydney via Gisborne and Auckland at 0.30 p.m. ' The steamer Sir Donald was alongsielc through the greater part of the day, but only succeeded in getting about 20 tons of luggage, the Manapouri having to carry on her general cargo, amounting to nearly 100 ions. Tho Manapouri is reported as having arrived at Poverty Bay at 7 a.m. this day.

The "steamer Maori, Captain Anderson, returned from Wairoa at 10.13 o'clock this forenoon, bringing a number of passengers and a cargo of IGO sacks of maize, which latter she has transhipped to the schooner Saucy Kate for Auckland. Tho Maori will be leaving again for Wairoa to-morrow night. Tho steamer Kiwi, Captain James Campboll, is not to leave Wellington for this port before to-morrow evening, and may be expected to arrive here on Friday morning. The p.s. Manaia, Captain Baxter, is to steam for Wairoa at 9 o'clock to-night

Tlie Union Company's steamer Southern Cross, Captain Ross, is announced as having loft Wellington for this port at 10. lo last night, with the inward portion of our 'Frisco mail on board, and will turn up during tho night. The Cross brings Go tons of cargo for here, which she will discharge inside to-morrow, and at G p.m. i* announced to steam for Gisljorne aud Auckland.

Auckland, This day. Arrived, Waihora from Sydney this morning.

The Darcy, which arrived from Timaru yesterday, reports that on November G, at o p.m., during a gale, a heavy sea was shipped, carrying away boats, bulwarks, and everything movable about the deck.
