Aii cxtcnsi\'e and disastrous conflagration occurred in the lower part of tho city at a late hour last night. Tho fire commenced in the Chinese quarters iv lower Georgestreet, and spread rapidly. Among the buildings destroyed Avere two Chinese Avarchouses, and the premises occupied by Messrs Dynon and Co., crockery Avarehousomen, and Messrs Mitchell, Francis and Co., ship chandlers. The coffee palace Avas also much damaged. The total loss is estimated at £20,000, part of avHcli is covered by insurance.
