Methodist Church bazaar open in Protestant Hall this evening and to-morrow from 2.30 p.m. General entries and final payments for the Pcta.no races must be made to-night. Mr Monteith sells at the Horse Bazaar at 11.30 a.m. to-morrow tho privileges of the Friendly Societies' sports, to be held on the 9th instant, and a number of hacks, light harness, medium draught, and other horses. A squad of Rifle Volunteers, for class firing, leaves the orderly room at 2.30 p.m. tf -morrow in charge of a non-commissioned officer. Messrs Banner and Liddlc sell by auction on Monday a quantity of goods in the partnership estate of Messrs McKenzio and Axford without reserve, and also the privileges of the Petano races, to be held on the 9th instant. Messrs Hardy and Sidey have just opened up a large assortment of fancy patterned vase lamps, with the improved silber, round wick, burner. Messrs M. R. Miller and Potts sell 60 head of cattle by auction at Beccrof t's yards, Hastings, on Thursday next. Tho Hastings art union of oil paintings, &c, will bo composed of 200 members. _ If cheap drapery and clothing is required, the public arc requested to go to Robinson's, in Emerson-street. Messrs Garrett Bros., of Dublin House, continue to sell boots and shoes cheaper than any other house in town, and the public are invited to compare quality and price. A number of new advertisements will be found in our "Wanted " column.
