THE NUMBER OF SHEEP IN THE COLONY.
Christchurch, This day. Tho Under-Secretary for the Colony has telegraphed to tho Chamber of Commerce that tho total number of sheep and lambs in the colony on May 31st was 13,288,000, subject to a few slight additions. This shows a satisfactory addition to the figures of last year, 12,408,106.
