CiiRiSTcnuRCH, This day. The Ellesmere Agricultural and Pastoral Association held their annual show at Lecston yesterday. Thero was a good attendance", fine weather, and the show was a general success. Timaru, This day. The annual show under tho auspices of tho Timaru Agricultural and Pastoral Association was opened yesterday, but only sheep and implements were on the ground, it being judging day. The show is not likely to be as successful as for some years past, owing to a decrease in the number of entries.
