The walking match came to a conclusion at 10 o'clock on Saturday night, Edwards winning by a mile and a lap, he having walked during the forty-eight hours 192 miles 1G laps, and Scott 191 miles 15 laps. The hall was crowded at the finish of the match, and great excitement was manifested.
