An enthusiastic meeting of shareholders in tho West Coast Meat and Produce Export Company was held at Patea on AA'ednosday. Upwards of one hundred representing the district from the AVaimate Plains to Waitotara, were present. The principal business was the election of directors, which resulted as follows:—Messrs R. Lysaght and J. Livingstone, Hawcra; Mr" E. B. Hamilton, Manutahi; Messrs 11. F. Christie, J. Gibson, ard G. H. Norman, Patea; Messrs W. Wilson and A. Palmer, AVhenuakura ; and Mr J. M'Lean, AA r averley. j
