MAILS CLOSE Tho British Queen leaves Lyttelton for London ou Saturday, the 27th instant. For tho Sandwich Islands, America, AVest Indies, the United Kingdom, Continent of Europe, &c., via San Francisco, on Saturday, tho 3rd of November, at noon. Tho Omaha, from Auckland for tho Chatham Islands, is postponed till the sth November. Tho Orient steamers will leave Melbourne for London on 19th October, 2nd and 10th November, arriving in London on 27th November, llthand 25th December. Correspondence for this route to bo specially addressed per Orient steamers ; postage, 8d per half-ounce. J. Grubb, Chief Postmaster.
