into the Herald this morning) re shipping arrangements made by our firm, we are not aware- of any such arrangements having been made, and as we arc anxious that the public should not bo misled ou this head, we take this opportunity of informing you that we shall at all times be glad to give all information in our power on this at present interesting subject. AYe may mention that up to the present timo (though we have been negotiating for some weeks past with the twolcading" local shipping companies) we have been "unable to make any satisfactory conclusion, and have this day cabled Home for freight to bo provided by our London representatives, who have already had offers of largo accommodation, but which they have been unable to accept, owing to pending negotiations in this colonv.—AVe are, &c., Nelson Bros., Limited.
