Handicap, XIOO, to his credit, carrying Sst lib, and then finished the day hy winning the .Railway Stakes in a canter. The following year he again won the W.J.G. Handicap, Ost 71b, and Wanganui Stakes, weight for age. Opawa also won several other well-contested races. It will be seen, therefore, that Opawa is well worthy of the attention of breeders, his pedigree being of the highest strains of winning blood', and his performances _ unequalled on this side of the world. He is as sound as the day he was foaled, and possesses a constitution of unsurpassed excellence. His stock have turned out well, as his first season's foals furnished Doncaster, winner of the Marlborongh Spring Stakes.
