New Zealand securities are quoted to-day as follows:—Five per cent 10-40 loan, 103.V; live per cent 1889 loan, 107; four and"a half per cent 1879-1904 loan, 101.} ; four per cent inscribed stock, 101?,-. The total quantity of wheat afloat for Great Britain is .C 1,810,000 quarters, an incrcaso of 110,000 quarters during the week.
The markets for Australian grain and talloiv aro without quotable change. Copra, Sydney sun-dried, .C2O 10/- per ton. Leather, best sides have advanced to ll'Jdperlb. October 13. The American Avheat crop is estimated at 400,000,000 bushels. Tho European beet root crop is expected to amount to 1,070,000 tons.
