COOKTOWN (QUEENSLAND).

Captain Armit (the special correspondent of tho Melbourne Argus) and the members of his expedition, have arrived here from New Guinea. Only one of the party is free from fevor. Captain Armit reports that Professor Denton, who Avas accompanying him to Now Guinea, died of fever on the 20th August.
