Tamnata's district is a borderland, sixteen miles through, and lies bet ween Major Kemp's and Topia's districts. Mr Rochfort, with Topia's help, will work back towards this borderland. Ho is instructed to exhaust, every pacific measure, and meantime Mr Bryce does not think it necessary to interview tho obstructionists himself or to send an armed force to the scene of action.
