September. 27—Awaroa, topsail schooner, for Poverty Bay. 27 —Maori, s.s., for Wairoa.
Tho Union Steamship Company's steamer Suva, Captain Parsons, from Dunedin, Oamaru, and Timaru, arrived here at 6.30 o'clock this morning, and as she was drawing but 12ft. sin. of water aft she was brought inside and moored at the breastwork, where she discharged her cargo during the forenoon. The Suva is to steam for Tauranga aud Auckland at G o'clock tomorrow morning under command of Captain Hutchins, who will arrive here tho first thing to-morrow by the Waihora. The p.s. Manaia, Captain Baxter, returned from W.'iiroa at 8 o'clock last evening, bringing several passengers. She will leave again for the same place on Monday night. The topsail schooner Awaroa sailed for Poverty Bay at 5.30 p.m. yesterday taking a cargo of'grass seed, coal, and fencing
posts. Tho Union Company's s.s. Ringarooma is telegraphed as having left Wellington at 7.30 p.m. yesterday for Northern ports and Sydney, and will in nil probability arrive here about 3 o'clock this afternoon. The launch with tho outward mail and passengers for this boat is announced to leave the wharf at 5 o'clock this evening. _ The Ringarooma's cargo, some CO tons, will be convoyed ashore by the Sir Donfdd. The s.s. Maori,' Captain Anderson, got away for Wairoa last night, taking a full
cargo. The steamer Kiwi's departure from Wellington for Napier and the coast lias boon postponed until Monday night. Tho Union Company's s.s. Waihora, Captain Edie, leaves Gisborne to-night, ami is due in our harbor by 5 a.m. to-morrow. She will bo tendered shortly after arrival by tho ketch Three Brothers for her cargo, and by the launch Boojum for mails and passengers, taking those outwards off at 10 a.m., tho Waihora steaming for Southern ports and Melbourne shortly after their transhipment. A three-masted schooner was in the bay this morning, probably the Silver Cloud.

Tho Collector of Customs has received a telegram from Colliugwood, stating that tho ketch Argus, when leaving there on Thursday night for hero, .struck on a snag, knocking a hole in Iter bottom. The crew arc safe.
