Greymouth, This day

Mr W. Redmond, M.P., delivered an address on Irish matters last evening. Tho Public Hall was filled, about 400 being present, Aery many men and women alike coming from tho outlying districts. MiRedmond met with an enthusiastic reception, and tho name of Mr Parnell or Mr Davitt, whenever mentioned, evoked loud applause. Mr Walshe, being called for, delivered a short vigorous address. A subscription list was opened in the room, aud Avith the money taken at tho door £240 Avere collected. Mr Redmond lectures again to-night on " Recollections of Forster and the Avorking of the Coercion Act in Ireland." A banquet was held in tho same hall, but the seats Avere not taken before midnight.
