Two special prizes arc added to the list already announced to be awarded at the ensuing , show of tho Agricultural and Pastoral Society. The Heretaunga Road Board invites tenders for forming crossings at Chapman's road, and at Southampton, Eastbourne, and Lyndon streets. Mr Lyndon makes additions to the advertisement of his sale at Pukahu on Wednesday, and announces that luncheon will be provided. Mr W. Kelly, Australian bookmaker, has books open on tho Hawke's Bay spring meeting, Melbourne Cup, and New Zealand Cup. Messrs J. Heslop and G. A. Oliver, the trustees in the estate of the late Mrs Harland, announce that, owing to unforscen circumstances, tenders for the subdivision of the property will not bo accepted. A draught gelding and a draught mare have been lost from Omahu, and anyone rinding same will be mutably rewarded by Mr G. P. Donnelly, Crissoge. A road overseer is wanted for tho Horetaunga Road Board. Mr R. Wellwood, Hastings, has 1700 fat sheep for sale. Mr Prebblc has to hand apples, oranges, bananas, crayfish, and smoked Kchnapper. The thoroughbred stallion Pohokura stands this season at Taradale. Messrs Murray, Roberts and Co.'s announcement , of goods on hand and to arrive will be found on our first page to-day.
