Notice of motion by Me. A. T. Danvees : "That section (1), Racing Rule 11, Page 11, be altered by the omission of all the words after "Oat" down to "accepted" inclusive. The Rule then to read " The top weight in any Handicap shall not be less than 9st. The minimum weight in a hurdle race to be 9st 71b." Notice of motion by Me. T. J. Ryan : " That in order to give practical effect to Rule 9, tho election of a President, Treasμrer, and Committee shall be conducted in the following manner: 1. Nominations from Members of tho Club to be in the hands of the Secretary at least 14 days before the day of annual meeting. 2. That on receipt of such nominations ' the Secretary shall post to each member of the Club a list or ballot-paper, containing tho names of all members so nominated, such list or ballot-paper to be returned to the Secretary on or before the day and within one hour after the opening of such Annual General Meeting, leaving on the names of such President, Treasurer, and Committee as the member intends to vote for."
