A general meeting of the Hawke's Bay Cricket Association will be held at S o'clock to-night. Nominations of candidates to fill tho vacancies in the Te Oero Road Board must bo made at Mr F. Tiffen's woolshed not later than noon to-morrow. Messrs Hoadlcy, Lyon and Co. sell by auction at 2.30 p.m. to-morrow, at their wool stores, the lease of Farndon Park for five years, and 25 quarter-acre sections in the township of Pahiatna. Tenders for subdivision of tho Suunyside estate will be received by the trustees, Messrs J. Hcslop and G. Oliver, not later than to-morrow. The creditors of St. George Ryder meet at the Court House, Napier, at 2 p.m. tomorrow, when the debtor makes application for certificate of compliance with provisions of Bankruptcy Act. Tenders for the construction of a bridge, with approaches, over the Ilincmaiai river, on the Taupo and Murimotu road, will be received by Mr S. P. Smith, Assistant Surveyor-General, Auckland, up to noon to-morrow. A general meeting of the Hawke's Bay County Cricket Club will be held at Kelly's Hotel,' Hastings, to-morrow evening. Messrs Banner and Liddle sell by auction at their rooms, on AA'ednesday, Hobart apples and a quantity of furniture without reserve. A bay gelding and a brown mare have been impounded at Hastings, and will be sold on the Ist October if not previously redeemed.

A key has been found, and owner can have same on application at office of this paper. The address of Mrs Coham, milliner, is next Faulkner's coach factory, Hastings street. Messrs Banner and Liddlo's next salo of sheepskins, hides, wool, etc., takes place on AVednosday. The half-yearly dividend and bonus of tho Bank of Australasia, at the rate of 14 per cent per annum, will be available to the shareholders on the colonial register on and after tho oth October. Mr T. Milne, brass finisher, gas and water fitter, Miller street, does all kinds of repairing, and orders left with Mr Prebble or Mr Cobb will receive attention. Messrs Blythe and Co. announce the arrival of tho advance shipments of. their now season's goods, and invite inspection. The New Zealand Shipping Company publish fuller particulars of the direct line of steamers to London. A number of new advertisements will be found in our " AVanted " column.
