The Napier agent of the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Ag-oncy Company has received from the London office of the company the following telegram, under date London, 11th instant: —
Wool.—Market unchanged. Up to date 175,000 bales have been sold, and 79,000 bales hav3 been taken for export. "Wheat. — Market quiet. Adelaide is worth 47,0, and Now Zealand 41/- per 49Glbs. New Zealand f.a.q. is worth c.i.f. oil" const 41/- per 4Solbs. Tallow. —Market quiet. Mutton is worth 42/6, and beef 41/- per cwt. Leathor. — Market quiet. Best Sides, ll^dperlb. N.Z. Hemp.- —-Market quiet. Fine is worth £28 per ton. [By Cable.] London, September 12. Consols remain at 100£, and New Zealand securities at yesterday's quotations. Adelaide wheat is unchanged at 47/-, oxatoro, and Now Zealand ditto at 42, G to 46/-; Adelaide flour, ex-warehouse, 33/-. Australian tallow, best beef 40/-, and best mutton 41/-. September 13. The Bank of England to-day reduced the rate of discount to o\ per cent.
