Consols are unchanged at 100|, and New Zealand securities as follows:—Five per cent 10-40 loan, 103, ex-dividend; five per cent 1889 loan, 10G~£ ; four and a half per cent 1879-1904 loan, lOO.f: four per cent inscribed stock, IOO^. There arc no changes to report in the markets for colonial brcadstuffs and tallow. Melbourne, Wednesday. Shipping wheat is quoted at 4/10 to 4/11, market steady ; malting barley is in fair demand, but no change in prices has occurred during tho week; New Zealand oats are worth 3/- to 3/2, and the market has a slightly improved tendency.
