An inquest was held yesterday on the body of Henry Harris, who Avas droAvncd from the pilot boat Avhen going off to the brig Scabird on tho Ist instant. After a long enquiry the jury, after being locked up from G to 10 p.m., returned the follow-ing-verdict:—"We find that the deceased Avas accidentally droAvned whilst assisting to put a pilot on board the brig Seabird." Ten of the jury desired to add a rider pointing out the necessity of the Harbor Board placing proper boatmen at the disposal of tho harbor-master, and two jurymen Avanted to censure the harbor-master for no.t ordering the Seabird to lay-to before boarding her; but on the suggestion of tho Coroner both riders wore dropped, and tho verdict Avas signed by all the jurymen.
