SHIPPING.
PORT OF NAPIER The Union Steamship Company's steamer Taiaroa, Captain Parsons, was to have left Wellington for Napier at 3 p.m. this day, and should in that case arrive here tomorrow morning. She will bo tendered on arrival in the bay for mails and passengers by tho launch Boojuni, and by the steamer Sir Donald for her cargo, some 39 tons. The last launch is to leave the wharf at 4 p.m., the Taiaroa getting away shortly afterwards for Gisbornc, Tauranga, and Auckland.
There is still a heavy sea reported to be running on the bar at Wairoa, so that communication with that port is still interrupted. Tho Union Company's a.s. Southern Cross, Capt. Allman, is reported as having nailed from Auckland at 4.30 p.m. yesterday, having about 30 tons of cargo on board for this port. She is due hero on Friday next, will discharge her cargo inside, and at 11 o'clock tho same morning is announced to steam from the wharf for Wellington. Wo learn that tho Union Company's steamer Omapcre will be leaving Dunedin on the 17th instant for Auckland via Oamaru, Timaru, Napier, Gisbornc, and Tauranga, being duo here on Saturday, the 22nd of September. The Union Company's steamship Manapouri, from Melbourne via Southern ports, will be a day late coming up the coast, thus not arriving" here until Sunday next. _ Her time of departure for Sydney via tho North has been extended to 4 p.m. that day.[by cable.] London, "September 10. TheP and O. Company's steamship Siam, from Melbourne on July 17, arrived at Plymouth to-day. Ar/UANY, Tuesday. Arrived, yesterday evening, P. and O. Company's steamship Clyde, with tho inward Suez mails dated' London, August 10th.
Sydney, Tuesday. Arrived, this morning, Union steamship Wairarapa from Auckland. Meltoukne, This day. Sailed, yesterday afternoon, Waihora for tho Bluff.
[by telegraph.] Auckland, This dny. Sailed, yesterday, P.M.S. Zcalandin for San Francisco. She took £ 150,000 in specie shipped at Sydney, and 15 boxes of gold^ shipped at Auckland, of the value of New Plymouth, This day. The steamer McGregor, which entered tho Wnitai-a river on the 2nd September, is still detained there, and is not expected to got out till tho spring tides puts more water on the bar.
Txmahu, This day. Tlio ship Waimate, which sailed for London yesterday with a fidl cargo of grain, was loaded down to nearly 11) feet, nncl took all her cargo on board under the breakwater. She took 1000 tons on board in three days.
