The following is Mr Brooking's share roport for the week ending September Bth, 1883 :—
[By Carle.] London, September 7. Consols have advanced to 100 J. Now Zealand securities.—The five per cent 10-40 loan is quoted at 103, ex-divi-dond; five per cent 1889 loan, 10GJ-; four and a half per cent 1879-1904 loan, 1 OOf ; four per cent cent inscribed stock, 100J-. Adelaide wheat, ex-store, 47/- ; New Zealand wheat, ex-store 43/- to 46- ; Adelaide flour, ex-storo, 33/-. Tho total quantity of wheat afloat for the United Kingdom is 1,680,000 quarters. Australian tallow, best beef 40/-, and best mutton 41/-.
