Each of the following bills were read a second time .-—lnspection of Machinery, Extension of Public AVorks Act Amendment, Patent Act Amendment, AVest Coast Peace Preservation Continuance, Property Assessment Act Amendment, Town Districts Act Amendment, Special Powers and Contracts, Adulteration Prevention Act Amendment, Middle Island Half-caste Grants, and South Island Natives Reserves Bill.
