The steerage accommodation is of a superior character, with separate lavatories for men and women, and special provision for families. The saloon and state cabins are superbly fitted and arranged and provided with every requisite for the comfort of the passengers, who are provided with bedding and all cabin fittings. The dietary scale is most liberal. Second-class and steerage accommodation is all that could bo desired, and the ships are commanded by experienced masters. The Company also charters ships of the highest class as required, and vessels are despatched from London to each of the principal ports of tho colony with strict punctuality every month. The Company has also ships loading homeward from New Zealand. LIVERPOOL AGENCY. A Branch has been established in Liverpool, and vessels will be despatched at suitable intervals to the principals porte in New Zealand. NEW YORK AGENCY. Messrs R. W. Cameron and Co. have been appointed Agents for this Company, and a regular .line of vessels will be laid on for the various ports in this colony to meet tho requirements of the trade. Arrangements for the passages of friends to and fro from tho colony, and also for the conveyance of cargo can bo made at the Head Office, Christchurch or at any of the Branches in the colony. D. Salary at the rate of £300 a-ycar, with dwelling and boarders' fees. The person chosen will be required to teach English, Latin, French, and MatheinaticH, and to take chargo of the boarding establishment. Also—A Second Mistress, qualified to tako tho elementary work in the same branches. Salary, £120 with board.
