FIRE.—CHILD BURNED TO DEATH.

A fire broke out at Parawai on Sunday in a store occupied by Henry Woods. The building, which was uninsured, was totally destroyed, and Woods and his wife were severely burned, and arc now in the hospital. A female child four months old was burned to death. The fire originated through a pot containing coal tar boiling over.
