[By Cable.] Sydney, Saturday. The second day's races of the Ilawkesbury Racing Club's spring meeting to-day were largely attended. The principal event was the HAWKESIIUJIY (HiAXl'i HANDICAP, Of ."GO soys, with a sweepstake of 10 so vs. each added; U miles. First horse to receive 73 per cent, of the stakes, second 1") per cent., and third ten per cent. First Demon .. .. .. 1 Sardonyx .. .. - Despot .. .. .. '■> Eighteen horsos started. First Demon won easily by three lengths. Time 2mins oS.lsocs.
