Friday. The Council mot at 2.30 p.m. PASSAGE OE BILLS. The Guardian, Trust, _ and Executors Bill passed through committee. The Law Practitioners Act Amendment Bill was read a third timo and passed. The Taiaroa Land Bill was referred to a select committee. The Otago Harbor Board Reconstruction Bill passed through committee, was _ reported with amendment, ancl notice given to re-commit. Tho Masterton and Greytown Lands Managem-jnt Bill was read a third time and passed. The AVaitara Harbor Board Loan Bill passed through committee, the amount being reduced from £10,000 to £6000. The Licensing Act Amendment Bill and tho AVaimate High School Bill wero read a second timo.
