SHIPPERS OF FROZEN MEAT.

A detailed list of shippers of frozen meat from Otago has been published. The total number of sheep sent since February, 1882, is over 62,000. The Ncav Zealand and Australian Land Company, who on more than one occasion chartered a ship for themselves, have sent 18,000, five OAvners have sent over 3000, two over 2000 and several over 1000. Altogether there have been 57 shippers. Quito a trade is done amon-st shareholders in the Refrigerating Company in selling their space allotments at a premium; for instance, there were over 100 applications by shareholders for space in the British King, yet there were only 41 shippers; and 130 applications are already made in tho caso of the British Queon.
